Richard Wright (1908- 1960), an African American author, has grown up in the South at a time when society witnessed deep division, for together with Whites vs. Blacks conflict there been The tension likewise, and violence formed dominant behavior between conflicting groups. Wright’s autobiographical novel, Black Boy, shows how he reared by mother who believes that is only effective strategy to protect her son from their violent environment. misery hardships mother, Ella Wright, undergone larger as well family separated husband, have led adopt this strategy.
